Eighth Annual Rendezvous

June 29 - July 1, 2012

East Fork Reservoir

11 Miles Southeast of Lewistown, Montana

The Snowy Mountains provide a scenic backdrop
for our yearly rendezvous overlooking East Fork Reservoir.
The three-day event includes competitions in: pistol and rifle
trail walks with gongs, paper targets, knife, tomahawk, fire starting
and archery (long bow). Pistol and rifle are patched round ball,
open iron signts only.

A variety of games are planned for kids of ALL ages including
frying pan throws, tug-of-wars, sack races, pancake races and others.
Your versatility will be put to test in the fun shoots which also
require a bit of teamwork. Demonstrations pertaining to the mountain
man era are sure to peak your interest as well as a wide array of goods
for sale in Trader's Row.

Everyone is encouraged to step back in time and dress in 1840s
attire; competitors will be awarded extra points in the aggregate
for being clad in authentic dress.

The rendezvous begins early Friday morning with an opening ceremony
followed by a full day of competitive events and a potluck supper.
Saturday is bursting with many activities. In addition to the
scheduled events, an assortment of games, fun shoots and demonstrations
will take place throughout the day. Toward evening, EVERYONE (including
the PUBLIC) is invited to partake in a FREE SUPPER. Then, an assortment
of valuable items will be up on the auction block and everyone is
encouraged to bid and buy. Following the auction, a large bonfire in the
center area will set the mood for the night's entertainment where local
musicians will share their musical talent. Events will continue through
Sunday morning with awards being presented at mid-day. It's advisable to
schedule your event participation early because the amount of events will
be limited on Sunday.

Our rendezvous is FREE TO THE PUBLIC. A small fee will be charged to
compete in the events for ages 12 through adult. Children under the age
of 12 may compete free of charge. However, children must register;
parental consent is required. Children will have one-on-one adult
supervision while participating in shooting events.
Blanket prizes are optional for gong participants (bring one if you want
to take one).

Be sure and bring your appetites along as there will be home-cooked
meals served for a reasonable fee throughout the weekend.

The site offers FREE CAMPING; primitive and tin tepee sites are
available. Campsites will be assigned by the Booshway. Venders will
also be assigned locations in Trader's Row (free of charge). Toilet
facilities and garbage disposal are available at no charge. Please bring
